Pourama designs are inspired by the internal light we all hold within, showcasing our unique and diverse culture through creative interpretations and cultural references of the past, present and future. 

The very first glimmer of light that appeared well before the separation of Ranginui and Papatūānuku was the Hinatore, the light of the glow worm.

The Hinatore guided and gave much hope in a world of complete darkness.

With the separation of the divine parents Ranginui and Papatūānuku, Te Ao Marama, the world of light, came to be.

Our Māori spiritual traditions are rich with references to the light that exists in all creation, affirming the dynamic and subtle light we all carry within.
